Our Life Groups are the heartbeat of the church. As we gather in a home, break bread, chat, pray and build friendships we are walking the path of discipleship together. Having friends to talk and pray with is a high priority for us.
We have four Life Groups that usually meet on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Email us for more details - info@pershorecc.org
Alpha is a fantastic way to examine the Christian faith and to raise any questions you have. We run online and face-to-face Alpha courses, so you can join in from the comfort and convenience of home or come and meet up in town.
‘Alpha was the best thing I ever did. It helped answer some huge questions and to find a simple empowering faith in my life.’ – Bear Grylls, TV Adventurer

Children have a central role in the life of our church – we don’t just want them to be the church of the future, we want them involved now!
Children are as welcome as adults to share readings, pictures and prayers, and Sunday mornings sometimes involve something designed specifically to engage children, e.g. a drawing table, musical instruments, or even an all-church percussion session.
After around 15 minutes, the children leave the main meeting and have their own session, where they share what God has done, learn from the Bible, pray, play and eat! There is usually lots of laughter and something to take home that they have made.
Sunday mornings are when the youth focus particularly on spiritual activities. They join in with us at the start of the worship meeting and then meet for their own time of prayer, Bible study, having some fun and eating biscuits. Both youth groups are for school Year 7 upwards.
Our Friday night youth group meets once or twice per month, with wide-ranging activities. Previously they’ve enjoyed bell-boating, laser quest, swimming party and a progressive meal, to name but a few. As a group, they fund-raise to sponsor a child that they support and they have even dressed up to be servers at a wedding! We are fortunate to have the use of the purpose-built Pershore Riverside Youth centre for when the youth are not out and about.
New to the UK or looking to brush up your spoken English? We have a track record for running English classes for anyone who wants to improve their English in a friendly and relaxed environment.
