Who we are

We are a group of Christians from Pershore and the surrounding villages who love God and want to serve him. Jesus talked about church as a way of living in relationship with him and other believers, rather than church being a building. We are currently an all-age church of around 50 people, of all ages.

We have a real passion for introducing people to our vision of what the local church can be and the place it can have in people's lives. Our vision can be summed up by two Bible verses:
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" John 10 v10
We believe that life with Jesus is full, exciting and worth celebrating. That's why we don't always have a Sunday morning "service" - you might find us out for a walk, sharing breakfast or helping someone clear their garden out! All-ages, all backgrounds enjoying "life to the full" together.
"Jesus went on to say, 'I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God arrive in great power'” Mark 9 v1
We know that God has the power to intervene and change our lives and we'd love to share that assurance with other people. We believe that God heals illnesses and diseases, he communicates to us through words and pictures and he acts in miraculous ways when we pray to him.

Pershore Community Church was planted from City Church Worcester in September 2010 and also has close links with Colwall Community Church. We subscribe to the Evangelical Alliance’s statement of faith and are affiliated to Salt and Light, an international family of churches.
